Facebook is still the largest social network we all know and its really doing a whole lot of things as regard social that it’s has started adding artificial intelligence to its algorithm. Recently, they have been increase in the rate at which Facebook accounts where hacked and has made many people especially the public figure lose their Facebook account or sometimes fall victims of Blackmail.

To know if your Facebook account have been hacked it very simple, all you need to do is;
- Login to your Face-book account.
- From either your timeline or a friend’s timeline,
- Go to the comment section and type the code @[4:0] without any space.
If the comment appears as “Mark Zuckerberg”, then your account is safe but if not, then your account have been compromised by Hackers.
- All you need to do now is adjust your settings and change your password.
Safety Tips to avoid Hackers from Hacking your Facebook account
- Accept friend request from people you know
Not every friend request you see on Facebook has a good intension for you. On this note, you have the choice of accepting friend request only from people you know or people you feel are safe enough to be on your friends list.
- Mind the type of links you click on Facebook
Many Facebook accounts have been hacked because of the links they click. Sadly, you will barely know the type of link that is safe. But I strongly recommend you stay away from Pornography links as they click through rate of such links are always high and most times, they are and can be very dangerous for your Facebook account.
- Block suspected Hacker
Don’t hesitate to block any user who sends s you suspected links on Facebook either on your timeline or your inbox. I do block such users in a way that they can never see me or my post on Facebook ever again. Just go to setting>block>block user>type the person’s name and confirm you want to block the person and you’re done.
