Chris, the talented and young Nigerian entrepreneur told Bill Gates, the world’s richest billionaire that he cant accept a job offer as software engineer at Microsoft Inc, so he can focus on building a startup called Slatecube in Lagos during a television interview that featured some of Africa’s brightest young entrepreneurs which was held back in August 2016.

Chris during the television interview told Gates he can’t accept software engineer role at Microsoft.

He said When I told him, Gates was intrigued and he smiled. After the programme, all the directors were like, ‘Dude, you mean you actually turned down a job at Microsoft and had the guts to tell Bill Gates?”

The young entrepreneur believes so much in his dreams that his startup company has got so much value to add and cant betray his passion for slatecube.

The company (Slatecube) if focused on helping other young Nigerians graduated to find Jobs. Slatecube is therefore nurturing it vision by running digital internship programs where users can learn every course they enroll into online.

The Slate Cube startup is looking at expanding and registering its business presence in Kenya, Ghana, South Africa and more in 2017.

He also said If you can do business in Lagos, you can do business anywhere in the world, said Chris when he was asked where his tenacious spirit to compete in the business world comes from.”

Since employers reject Nigerian graduates because of they lack professional skills; entrepreneurial skills, decision-making, critical thinking, skills and among others, Slatecube has taken it upon itself to address the issue.
